Cercis manufactures optical test instruments including fiberoptic powermeters, LASER/LED/VCSEL light sources, fault finders, opticlal loss test sets, and custom or OEM instruments, plus controllers for DSLR-camera astrophotography and telescope focusing. Building on base technology of its standard products, Cercis also offers custom or OEM instruments for a variety of fiber optic telecom/datacom, military, industrial, medical or instrumentation applications. Powermeters offered include standard (510 Series) and data logging (610 Series) handheld instruments. Light sources are available with a variety of wavelengths using LASER, LED or VCSEL sources. Visible fault finders identify fiber breaks and microbends or check optical components. Astronomical products are used for automated telescope focusing or astrophotography using digital-single-lens-reflex (DSLR) cameras. Software of these products can also be modified for other applications using DSLR camera in lieu of frame grabber
